Take down all those annoying yellow reminder papers off your office wall and keep them neatly organized on your computer desktop. Simple Sticky Notes lives up to its title by providing a simple way of reminding yourself of important notes.
This free program embeds itself in the system tray and offers very little beyond the capability to make and sort notes, which is perfectly fine with us. From the tray, users create a new note, which pops up as a look-alike yellow Post-it note. However, this one can have its color changed and its transparency adjusted thanks to the pull down menu at the top of the note. The size can also be adjusted on the note, but that's the end of the formatting options.
The tray menu gives users the opportunity to show all notes and sort them to stay organized. While the notes aren't automatically stacked on top of one another, but staggered, this is still a great way to look at notes that have been minimized and forgotten. While we would have liked to have seen an alarm system like some other sticky note programs provide, we have no complaints with Simple Sticky Notes' straightforward system and its fine way of keeping notes for free.

Version: Simple Sticky Notes 1.0
Pros: I've been using SSN about a week. Everything I wanted. Really free useful software, not some sad teaser version. Runs light (one process). Does all the usual text stuff, accepts pasted text with formatting. Changing color and opacity is handy.
Cons: Unlike earlier review, SSN doesn't complain when I'm not online, it doesn't seem to be online, so I haven't had a problem.
Once I couldn't drop the cursor into any note to add text. I closed and reopened SSN and haven't had a problem since.Summary: Does the job great for free.

"Not as good as freebie notes"
Pros: Freebie notes has it al over this program !
Cons: I wanted to delete it and I can't find directory, and it wants to go online each time you boot up! Why the software people do this makes no sense to me! Does anyone know how to delete a program you can't find ? :{

"Easy to use, take and edit your note & simply save it !"
Pros: The best feature is that it has full unicode support that enables to take notes with different character sets in the same note.. Arabic, Georgian or Hebrew doesn't matter.. simply note and save..
Cons: I couldn't find any downsides, use and see it for yourself !!
Summary: If you want to take notes and simply save them, this should be the right product for you. I started using the software right after I have downloaded it. Doesn't bore you with details for settings as it is a product that is ready to go.. No more need... read more >>

Pros: Easy to use
add new notes by double-clicking the tray icon
multiple controls over each sticky notes
doesn't get in the way of overall computer functionalityCons: Nothing Wrong ;)
Summary: Try it out! I found it to be great for my needs... writing down the upcoming exam schedule, projects that are due, work schedule, or even just small reminders.
