Crisp graphics. Realistic fish and background. Good sound. Seems like a lot of thought went into the product.

I loved SIM Aquarium on XP on my old Dell. That version was worth 5 stars. Beautiful lifelike fish, choice of tanks and excellent moving plants.
Cons
On new Win7 Dell the tank was not full-screen, and the fish stopped appearing. I wrote twice to support and was ignored. I asked for a refund, but I'm obviously not going to get it. Now I have Marine Aquarium 3 and won't look back.

I was searching for the best aquarium screen saver, one that I could buy and enjoy every day, one that would make me feel that I was viewing a real aquarium, Sim Aquarium did not fit my requirements.
Only one Aquarium screen saver software product did make me smile all over, that is Dream Aquarium. I bought it, it has been perfect, I am extremely happy with Dream Aquarium, and highly recommend it. -

I hate when you say it's free and then it turns out to be a trial. I'm not sure what you get for free. I hated the fact that it shoved into my face how many days I had left every time it was invoked. Free should be free, not free for 2 weeks!
Summary
Aside from the fact that it was not free, it would hang my system (Vista unfortunately, but that's another story!) over the course of a few hours of coming up & down. I'd have to run task manager to free my system up -- just bringing the task manager up was enough. I enjoyed the graphics, but it wasn't spectacular enough to pay for in $$$ or inconvenience.

"Doesn't work as advertised."

I tried the demo version on my Vista 64 bit system and it worked as advertised.
Cons
I then purchased the full version with screens #3 and #4, 'lite' version and got the authentication code. Having entered it and chosen tank #4 and 12 fish, all I got was the same old empty 'demo' fish tank.
Summary
When I tried to contact the seller's onlne FAQ or Help website, my browser was unable to reach any of them. They seem to be inactive. Do not purchase this software. It's a scam.

It occasionally fails and must be completely deleted and then reinstalled. That has happened to me on 3 occasions since my original purchase
