"I haven't tried the program but..."
Version: Silent Walk FPS Creator 2.0.6
Pros
More features than silent walk version 1
Cons
Maybe more difficult to use than silent walk 1
Summary
The company who made this program has recently developed several game engines for a variety of genres and it is highly recommended to visit their site for more info:

If you are new to game making and don't even know what the word programming means to the more advanced users who have dabbled in a game oriented programming language you should find something of use at their site. It is entirely possible for a complete newbie to make a 3D game level in under 20 minutes! I used their silent walk version 1 and was impressed with the outcome. Just don't expect to make the next Crysis game on it:)
PS The game engine called Silent Walk:Renaissance seems to look and function like silent walk version 1 (but with more functions) and (IMHO)should be tried out. (but the game engine will be about 80MB to download (full download with resources)

"Easiest to learn & use of all I have tried."
Version: Silent Walk FPS Creator 2.0.6
Pros
I have used this program on lame Intel Atoms, P4's, etc and have been using it for years. It works great and is easy to learn- especially with the included manual. At first, you can make an easy quake dungeon crawler, but if you use a bit of logic and look at the forums, you can make some awesome stuff, realistic lighting, animated sprites, etc. It is possible, but you have to try and think!
Cons
The only con I can think of is you have to individually click each tile. A drag and click would be nice for selecting multiple tiles, aka lots of floor or walls.
Summary
I have found this to be way better than FPSC, less buggy than all the others, and that is why I chose it to use to teach in school to 4-6th grad students. They love it, they get it, and it works on our lame computers.

"don't like it"
Version: Silent Walk FPS Creator 2.0.6
Pros
basic, easy to use
Cons
no variety/customization, bogs down on a quad core system with a 1 gig graphics card, probally over simple
Summary
due to the bogging down and lack of variety/customization i am going to keep looking for a fps maker that suits my needs, this one isn't it. if you can get it to run without being boggy might be good for 10-16 year olds to play with however there are eaiser ones out there to use with more variety/customization available
