Version: Sights 'n Sounds Streaming Media Server 2.0.3.a
"Works great., I was able to stream music across the Internet from my house to the office"
Summary: Very cool application and very easy to set up and use. I was able rip all my CDs and store them on my computer at home and then play the songs on my computer at the office. Setup was simple, all you have to do is copy the songs afeter you rip them into the folder that is put on desktop as part of the install. I set my folders up so that each album was in its own folder. That makes it easier to find stuff. It has a text search feature to locate titles. It even does digital picures. I copied my digital pictures into the folder and it created thumbnails for each photo. To get to your pictures and mp3 files all you need is a browser. I use IE and have had no problems. To play music you will need the windows media player (hopefully they support WinAmp soon). I have been running it for a few days and haven't had any problems with it so I would say that it is stable. Two thumbs up.
