I have always loved this app because I could keep my cryptic banking notes, client log-ins etc. in one place

Doesn't work with Lion (sob)
Summary
To find your saved notes, go to FINDER>GO (hold down option key)>LIBRARY>SideNote. All of your notes will be there in RTFD format and you'll be able to create a new folder and access the information and port it over to a new app for holding your info

Have found it a handy place to keep notes - better than Stickies.
Cons
New version slides out UNDER open windows. Have to slide open windows out of the way to see what's on SideNote. Does this have anything to do with the fact that I'm using OS X 10.6.8? Or is there some preference that I haven't found yet?

Pros
I love the aspect of it sliding from the side and not take up screen space when not in use. The customization of each note is also very good.
Cons
Does not always auto save and has completely erased a whole note on 2 occasions.
Summary
The only thing that I have had issues on is when I save the note it does not always auto save. I have one note that I add info to each day. If you restart your computer without clicking save you will lose that information. So I always make sure to save. Even with doing that there have been two instances when I have shut down my Mac and when I turned it on the whole note was completely erased. If I cannot rely on this note to save my info then I cannot use it.
