The Compress AppleWorks feature makes a copy of your AppleWorks 6 folder and completes a Spotlight search for all AppleWorks documents. You can then use these files to backup AppleWorks and your documents, or transfer them to a new Mac. When you choose the Compress AppleWorks feature it will copy the AppleWorks 6 application and select it in a Finder window. Your AppleWorks documents will also be displayed in a Spotlight window in the Finder.
