Version: SiSoftware Sandra 2007
"One of the best benchmark tools on the market, no question about."
Pros: Who dont know about sandra? One of the best of its kind for analyzing and benchmarking. New version brought us nicer interface and updated benchmark comparing database. It is definitely a must for any serious benchmarker.
Cons: The result bars are very difficult to see because of multi-coloured patterns. There is no way to change them into one single colour.

"Don't quite know what a part is? Try this."
Pros: Finds model numbers and other information. Great when working on strange hardware with no manuals or documentation when you're trying to find drivers.

"Good utility to test/ rate system and the price is right."
Pros: Works good, easy to use. Simplifies testing to compare performance levels of different CPU's and system configuration.

"Nice product... not so nice company"
Pros: The trial version has many of the diagnostics disabled, otherwise it's quite good
Cons: I paid for a prior version, and due to a computer crash lost my installation file. The OFFICIAL retailer had closed so I contacted the SiSandra company and provided them with proof of purchase, including screen shots of my invoice.
But they REFUSED to help me.
To put this in context, this crash caused the same problem with about a dozen other vendors, and ALL supplied me with the latest, registered version of their software.
So, I purchased EVEREST, and have been happy with it since. Sandra might be a nice product, but it's hard to justify sending them any more money!
