I have 9, photo editing programs on my computer and every time I empty out my digital card, I find myself always putting every picture into this program! For a free program, it's equal to in many respects and somewhat better than, in others, to my "Photo Impressions" and "Fast Stone Image Viewer", programs I'd always used, before I found this one! Shutterfly also loads much faster and is easier to navigate than programs like Piccasa, etc.
It would be really stupid, to note any flaws in a program THIS GREAT, when it's also completely FREE! Seriously, though, I've had it a few months, now and have found NO FLAWS, or, problems with it!
Just what I have been looking for...AND FREE!!
None unless you are trying to be a Pro.
Never fails, always does great. Even if you're not thinking on using the Shutterfly service, this software will save your life with its tools and easy of use.
I love the interface! It's not clunky, and it looks great! As some know, I bother a lot about interface. The image quality is great, and basic photo editing tools are included. I would recommend this for beginners, even though I'm not one. This is just an alternative to me though, I still have a professional image editor+viewer installed in my PC. Still, over-all thumbs up!

your a computer pro you say so you prob allready know about gimp not for a beginer but can do as wel as photo shop if you havent tryed then try it the ui is not pretty tho like you like to see but is a real good photo editor install will take some know how read web site
Have used previous versions of S/F and love it! Far exceeds usability of software that comes with bundled digicams. I like the capture from the digicam function (overcoming prepacked digicam software which can be a pain in the arse). I also like the basic edit, and file storage all in one. Would not have even worried about going for the latest version if my old system hadn’t died. If I sound like a paid-for-view yank talk show host, so be it – beaut gear.
Although this is designed as a front end for the excellent Shutterfly web-site, it has enough easy-to-use and hard to screw up features that it is useful on its own as a simple image viewing/editing tool.
All I really need was a quick and easy way to rename 1000's of digital pics. Shutterfly made it extremely simple, no need to hunt for jpegs they were found automatically folder to folder. And for the price.....how do you beat that? Highly recommended
