    "Malware masquerading as malware-remover!"

    November 10, 2014  |   By rch427

Version: Should I Remove It 1.0.4.27527

    Pros

    None that I saw.

    Cons

What a scam! When I installed and ran the program, I had it search for possible malware on my computer. It compiled a list, the first (and supposedly worst) of which was YouTubeAdBlocker. OK, that's been installed on my computer for a year and my computer has been trouble-free for that time, but I decided to go ahead and have ShouldiRemoveit uninstall that program. When I clicked "remove", the interface popped up the following message:
"This will completely remove the browser add-on. In order for the uninstall to be completed your computer must restart, please click 'Yes' in order to complete the uninstall process and install an alternate browser extension which will save you money while you shop online."
Did you catch that? It tells you that it's going to uninstall one add-on and replace it with another "which will save you money while you shop online"! In other words, it replaces someone else's (supposed) malware with malware of its own!

    Summary

No legitimate anti-malware program would simply replace malware with its own malware. AVOID THIS CRAP!

    "Use Caution Here"

    October 20, 2014  |   By ColdWest

Version: Should I Remove It 1.0.4.27527

    Pros

Appears to do what it claims from reviews above

    Cons

An absolute Showstopper for me is the possibility of losing data if one chooses to uninstall the program as stated by at least two reviewers.

    Summary

UNLESS the developer successfully addresses the Con, I would NOT install this software. IF the critics are wrong then a clarification is required; if they are right, then some tweaking by the developer is evidently required.
