"Always know name of any particular song."
Version: Shazam for Android 3.1.0 BB70687
Pros
Easy to use. Saves your tags automatically and very quickly removes tags once you have gotten all info.
Cons
None that I have encountered as of yet.
Summary
I'm in my car a lot and would always get frustrated when a song came on the radio and when it was over, the on air person wouldn't announce who it was. No more being frustrated. I loved the free app so much, I purchased the full one. This is one app I used many times a day.

"Really great app."
Version: Shazam for Android 2.5
Pros
Has matched every song I've tried on it.
Cons
You hafta pay to do more than 5 songs a month.

""who does that one song?""
Version: Shazam for Android 1.3
Pros
At last I can easily find out the answer to the question above!
Cons
Since they became a paid app (though longer time users like me still have full use for free) it is MUCH MUCH SLOWER.
Summary
I've loved this app from the beginning - no more calling radio stations (ancient history) or checking the web to get song information - but since last couple of updates, the app has been horribly slow to load and to return results. Also, it crashes frequently when I try to go back after looking at a specific tagged item. Since I have been a user for a long time, I am still able to use the app for free, so I do continue to use it. If I had to pay for it, I wouldn't, given the problems since the updates.

"not free on android anymore"
Version: Shazam for Android 1.3
Pros
works great. 95% of the songs are able to be tagged. if you have issues, the developer responds quickly to emails.
Cons
recent update makes it a 7day trial and 5tags a month after that. or pay for unlimited tagging. i had unlimited but had to replace my phone due to hardware issues. they should make it to where it tracks you phone number instead of your serial number.
Summary
over all it's a good app. just needs a few tweeks.

"Wonderful App"
Version: Shazam for Android
Pros
it tells you what your listening to. it keeps track of songs tagged.
Cons
can't find live performances even if they are from a cd ex. Linkin Park Live In Texas
Summary
great app over all. i use it several times a day with my internet radio.

"Jaw dropper"
Version: Shazam for Android
Pros
Works as advertised, lives up to the hype.
Cons
It doesn't have (that I've found) a simple "add to my last.fm library" button, but once I have the artist and song name, this is hardly a real negative.
Summary
This is the application that causes jaws to drop after their owner has just asked "What do these 'app' things DO anyway?" While it's not necessary, it's almost required. It couldn't be easier to use, and does its job well.

"This ROCKS!"
Version: Shazam for Android
Pros
Amazing accuracy and depth of information, speed
Cons
Occasionally tags the same song as being on different albums - which it probably is, to be honest
Summary
I love this app - and I love the curious staresI get when I'm in some fast-food joint, hear a song from the overhead speakers, stand up and hold my phone in the air! This app is fun, surprisingly accurate, and ridiculously easy to use. I can stop trying to remember how a song sounds with the vague hope of hearing a DJ identify it someday. When I get home it is easy to grab the MP3's I want based on my tag list. I never even notice the ads, so who cares? If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
