Version: Shareaza 2.1
"Easily beats Limewire, Bearshare, or any other Gnutella client..."
Pros: OPEN SOURCE and COMPLETELY FREE. Connects to Gnutella1, Gnutella2, edonkey network, and is even compatible to download torrents. Very good source for any type of music you may be looking for. Includes enough features, built in media player and file browser. Clean and solid interface, which can be switched to other skins if prefered.
Cons: Learning curve may be quite steep for new users. Takes some time to figure out how to use all 3 networks without trouble. At first run, the program will automatically 'STEAL' your file type associations, such as your .torrent files, but this can be easily changed afterwards. Some other Gnutella and Bittorrent clients have 'blocked' Shareaza for certain reasons, but it is a minimal problem.
