The fact I have to restore my phone to factory trumps all others.
Summary
Hate iTunes, was looking for an alternative. Used Sharepod, seemed easy enough. Except that it wasn't copying files to my 4S. Said effit, went back to itunes. Except that now Itunes cannot read my phone! and wants to restore to factory defaults. WHA?????

The program has a small foot print with good features. Being able to drag my tunes into the ipod nano (6 gen) from windows explorer is a wonderful thing.
I tunes is nice but it's a huge and sluggish program that I don't care for. WMP is another one that seems to try to do too much. I couldn't get the nano paired with WMP which led me to SharePod. I'm quite pleased with it.Cons
It doesn't make my breakfast or coffee very well.
Summary
If you want a fast efficient solution to getting tunes on and off of you iPod, this is it.

the time i spent researching how to get music from my ipod onto my phone took longer than figuring out and applying this program. soooooo glad i found it. after last night's lengthy first round of unsuccessful attempts to move my music, i expected to spend much of tonight problem solving. fortunately for me, the first search i did tonight landed the suggestion of sharepod within a couple minutes...and 15 minutes later (after reading reviews, etc), my music was loading onto my computer, then loaded successfully onto my phone! big appreciation, Sharepod! :-)

Summary
I had to erase my hard drive & I was all sad because none of my music could fit on a flash drive. So I found SharePod and it literally took 5 minutes to copy 896 songs to my computer!
Now all my music is saved to my computer again and they actually play in the Windows music player! Plus, you don't have to install it so you don't have to worry about a virus, however, I did delete the download from my computer just in case. I definitely recommend this program! -

I was so bummed because I couldn't figure out how to get my music off my old ipod and of course Apple has to make everything 10x harder than it needs to be. Did a quick google search and BAM, this was so fast and so easy. Thanks a million!

got all my music and ring tones off of my phone.. 4000 of them! Saved me hours of ripping my few hundred CD's! When my old computer fried, I was so upset. But I'm almost in tears now because I'm so happy! Especially that it was free because I'm a student, and I can barely afford food!

Summary
I used a first gen iPod Touch and was able to transfer all of my music from there to my PC because my PC recently crashed and I had no backups (plus the music was from several PCs) and now I can put all my music on my Android phone :D
