SeriesGuide Show Manager helps you keep track of all your favorite TV shows using your Android device. It comes with a comprehensive database of episode lists, series information, and television schedules, some of which you can access, even while offline.
To get started, hit Menu, then Add Show. The SeriesGuide Home screen will list the shows you've added, their networks, and their time slots. From there, you can go through full episode lists and mark episodes you've already watched, pull up a list of upcoming episodes, read episode descriptions, find IMDb links, and share episode or series info via other installed applications. There's also a nice Sync function, which gives you offline access to all of your added shows.
We really enjoyed the look and feel of SeriesGuide, from its vibrant icons and screencaps to its solid, stable performance. Also, we loved the fact that it could check us in to GetGlue, mark on Trakt.tv, and instantly add upcoming episodes to our Google Calendar (though we would've loved a batch add function even more).
Overall, we think SeriesGuide is a great download for those who follow several shows and need an extra tool for reference and reminders. It even comes with built-in widgets that put upcoming episode info right on your Home screen. On the other hand, we're not quite sold on the idea of using it to keep track of back episodes we need to watch. It just seems a bit tedious to go back and mark every episode we've watched, especially for a long-running TV series.
With SeriesGuide Show Manager for Android, you can keep track of which episodes you still have to watch or which ones are upcoming. In addition you can get more information about a show and each episode (description, actors, and episode image) and share that you liked a specific episode. It features offline support (Internet connection required for adding/updating shows and downloading images), Backup/Restore your shows, GetGlue check-in support, and trakt.tv mark seen/rating support. App widget displays upcoming episodes. You can share episodes via Android apps (Gmail, Facebook, and Twitter).
