Version: Sendblaster Free Edition 1.5.5
"Good free program."
Pros: It is efficient for what I want to do : send 1 html email to 150 people.
Can manage lists, is simple and intuitive. Proposes a demo use of a professional SMTP server, very efficient.
Good html interface to write emails.
Cons: However, the free version is very limited : can't send at once to more than 100 people (need to send in several "rounds"). Use of demo SMTP server limited to 100 emails in total : when this number is reach, you can either buy a plan, or use your own smtp, or use direct send (direct send not accepted by some mail servers like hotmail for ex.). In the free version, the search tool for the email lists is disabled. Kind of annoying.
So this free version is not really meant to be a practical tool, but more to encourage the user to buy the full professional version.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't need the professional version, so I'll deal with my own smtp server and no advanced options... never mind!
