Version: Security Task Manager 1.7h
"Might be very good"
Pros: very much like the concept of the program as I want an extra layer of security to ESET without the program being a resource hog
Cons: Company that makes software appears to be reputable: http://www.neuber.com/news.html However,It appears as if there is a piece of malware out there called Spyprotector and Security Task Manager offers program called SpyProtector in its paid version.
Summary: Looks like a very good and needed program for the current market place. However, need more information. Considering using and selling this program but the possible cons need to be addressed especially from a marketing standpoint if I am going to sell this program. Also, some users had some concerns it was malware (see other users reviews previously. As a fellow marketer, I think the company should change the name of their SpyProtector program. Also, does anyone know how compatible their program is with the ESET personal security suite?
I have called a member of the CNET review staff and hopefully CNET will clear up the concerns I had about the product.
