Version: Security Task Manager 1.6c
"Powerful"
Summary: I had a virus which could not be removed or quarantined by Norton, AdAware, Spybot, etc. Nor could I kill the process manually. This product, which installs and runs very quickly, is able to identify and link the process with the files - it stopped the process and quarantined the file. It didn't even need to do a scan of the disk like anti-virus software since it is more oriented to the processes, so it was very quick.
You need to exercise some caution using it as that kind of ability could cause problems if you got rid of something you shouldn't.
I haven't really even looked at what else it can do, but this ability to provide such detailed info and linkages about running processes should be invaluable in eliminating malicious or unneeded processes, improving both security and efficiency. Seems well priced at only $29.
