    "Blue screen of death"

by Jane Q. Programmer on May 1, 2005

    Pros: Don't know any!

Cons: Installed the software, sloppy translation still has some German items. Crashed Windows XP SP2 immediately after loading. Good thing it's slow enough, that the third time I was able to uninstall it before it finished loading.

"It works on XP SP 2 !!!!"

by freesoft on May 7, 2005

Pros: I do not understand why some people wrote that it doesn't work on Windows XP SP 2 (?). I have Windows XP Pro SP2 and it works very well. It is a good firewall and includes VPN Settings. Also one can download from their web site a instruction manual in English. I do not know German but I understood everything because they have translated it into English...

Cons: I am not sure yet.

"Dangerous! Does not work with XP SP2!"

by LastBaron on February 17, 2005

Pros: Downloaded, installed well. I read and speak German, no problems. Turned off XP's own crappy firewall as instructed.

Cons: Program caused errors and threw system into a constant reboot-load-reboot loop which was only defeated by going into SAFE mode and uninstalling this foul piece of crap. This company needs to readdress the issue and Download should be totally ashamed for not putting warnings out on links that are incompatible with XP's SP2 (as I found out this was by visiting the Microsoft Knowledge Base after all of this). Download/CNet, you are leaving yourself open to legal liabilities this way...

    "Garbage"

by petriedn on November 1, 2005

    Pros: None

Cons: It crashed my computer (XP Pro no service packs) every time it started. I finally had to boot into safe mode and uninstall it. I'm still getting messages about serious errors at start up, but (thankfully), no more BSODs (so far). DO NOT download or install this software. It's clearly not ready for prime time.
