"Absolutely the BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Pros: This software, very much unlike TechTracker, does what it's supposed to do......it scans your PC, recognizes what is missing or corrupt and fixes it.
Cons: No cons from this power user.
Summary: Bottom line is simple...........use Secunia Personal Software Inspector 1.5.0.1 and not TechTracker. You won't regret it. read more

"very good for tracking updates"
Pros: It saves me time on tracking updates
Cons: Drives to be scanned should be part of scan menu, not in settings.

"Informed me of unknown security risks"
Pros: A number of commonly-used programs & software accumulated during 4 years I have had current PC (Java, Acrobat etc.) Scans showed me that not all previous versions had been deleted on previous updates, slowing system and exposing PC to security risks.
Cons: The Secunia Screen froze once or twice.
Summary: Easy to install and use (even the Advanced layout was relatively straightforward and provided direct links for downloading most recent versions). Regular, unobtrusive scan can be scheduled. So far, this is a good, free product. read more
