Version: SecondScreenTV Remote 5.02
"Great but Tungsten remote's weird"
Summary: I used SecondScreenTV to check what's on my DirecTV so much that I rarely use the printed guide. Once the remote is set up, I just hit the right button while pointing the Palm at the satellite receiver and it magically changes the channel, astounding my daughter who think's she's still holding the "only" remote.
On Tungstens, they never got the remote's display to work right, so the buttons keep appearing and then vanishing, although they still work if you know where on the screen to tap. I just use it to change channels, so it's not a big issue for me. I suppose if I wanted to use my Tungsten W as a universal remote and train it with every other remote we have, it could work, but it wouldn't solve the problem of everyone else here needing 5 or 6 remotes for the stereo, CD jukebox, TV, satellite, Playstation/DVD player, and VCR!
