Second Copy is one of the few shareware programs that I've tried that's worth buying and I intend to buy the program asap. From the first minute I tried and configured the program I was extremely impressed. This utility was able to backup all of my defined files in about 30 seconds into the ZIP archive format; I'm convinced it would have taken me over 10 minutes to do the backup using Windows Explorer and a file archiver. Not only can it compress using the ZIP format it can also view the zip files, and extract from them, and that's just the start of this wonder program. I only give the program a 3 on features for one reason only: It should allow for an anti-virus scanner to auto-scan all of the files after they are backed up, however that's just a minor gripe I can live with.

I've only been using it for a day, but it seems to be a complete backup product. There are many options to give you good control over the backup process. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to add files from more than one drive into a backup set or "profile". This weakness can be overcome by creating one profile for each drive.
