Version: Second Copy 7.0.0.157
"Flexible, easy to use, reliable backup"
Pros: Unlike other apps, in 2nd copy it's easy to specify files to include or exclude from the the backup set. Runs without fuss as a service under XP to regularly backup all users' data. I've used this application for years and it's a solid workhorse.
Cons: Can't easily use Windows task scheduler or batch file to run backup jobs. It has its own built-in scheduler. You can't connect to a network share using a different username/password. Can't backup user registry files and some other files in the user profile. You need to explicity exclude these files if backing up a whole profile.

"Excellent Product, version 7 is a nice upgrade too."
Pros: Encrypted, compressed backups. Backup of FTP
Cons: Some minor bugs, in V7 installing as a service can result in two copies running. This is easily fixed by not running the copy that would start when you login, however.

Pros: If you are using external hard drives
like Lacie or Maxtor, then Second Copy is
THE tool you need.

Pros: Second Copy will take away all your backup worries from day-to-day life so that you can focus on your work and other important issues.
Cons: No complaints, just right!

"5-year user very pleased with software and support"
Pros: It's easily configured to save-as-you-update, or on a schedule. Options to compress, span disks, overwrite, append, etc., are easily changed. I've never had anything break, but asked tech support for clarification about whether files are deleted if the "move deleted files to recycle bin" is not checked. Had an accurate response in my mailbox when I checked less than two hours later. Can't beat the price for top-quality product and support.
Cons: I would buy a version that could do full backups, including OS files.
