    "Fast, stable, reliable browser!"

    September 7, 2010  |   By amerbsat

    Version: SeaMonkey 2.0.6

    Pros

    Fast, customizable, stable

    Cons

    More add-ons are needed

    Summary

After using Firefox for a long time, it started slacking off.. and started acting heavy. Despite removing most of the add-ons.. Firefox would remain a bit slow. SeaMonkey was the answer: fast, stable, safe, customizable, reminds us of the golden Netscape.. this is it!

    "Nice little browser"

    August 21, 2010  |   By zoomie666

    Version: SeaMonkey 2.0.6

    Pros

This browser and additional programs are great. Easy to use, and fast. I like that we can use some themes and add ons that also are for Firefox.

    Cons

Does not work with XMarks, but it only takes 2 minutes to export your bookmarks once a month. Save to one of the off site free storage places if needed. Add to some other browser on the same or a different computer.

    Summary

I like this browser and use it as my primary.

"A FUN browser to use. VERY NICE!!"

    August 5, 2010  |   By LuvComputers

    Version: SeaMonkey 2.0.6

    Pros

This browser and Firefox are my favorite browsers. SeaMonkey is customizable, user friendly, secure and fun to use and not a memory hog! ;)

    Cons

No enough themes at the moment.

    Summary

A fun browser to use. Customizable. Very user friendly. More themes for the browser will be coming out when 2.1stable version is released. I've tried many, many browsers. And I always come back to SeaMonkey and Firefox. I really like them both! :-)

    "Use as my extra browser"

    August 4, 2010  |   By stonehkm

    Version: SeaMonkey 2.0.6

    Pros

IE is my primary, but I always download the minumum version of SeaMonkey and use it for various tasks that I do not want exposed to IE.

    Cons

Cons? Can't think of any right now!

    Summary

Useful and low resource alternative browser with just the features I want downloaded each time there is an update.

"Worth the download for component parts alone."

    August 3, 2010  |   By jmc452

    Version: SeaMonkey 2.0.6

    Pros

I almost never use the browser because it doesn't have my bookmarks, but the composer is the closest thing to Netscape Composer I've found. I've tried all sorts of web site editors and this is the only one simple enough that anyone can use it.

    Cons

Browser is no good without Xmarks.

    Summary

If there was a "pro" version with a few extras like a menu or site index, I'd purchase it. If you want a fancy web site, you'll have to have someone else do it or purchase (and learn) some awful complicated software.

    Version: SeaMonkey 2.0.6

    Pros

The Seamonkey I know & love it has all my Internet needs in the one handy application & the file size is even better.

    Cons

    None what so ever.

    Summary

A application suite which has all my Internet needs covered & the small file size is much better than Firefox & Thunderbird combined.

"It does it all in one application in a small file size."

    July 25, 2010  |   By JasCarver9

    Version: SeaMonkey 2.0.6

    Pros

Very simple to use, very friendly interface to add on what you like. Themes, add on support.

    Cons

    None at this time.

    Summary

I was exposed to SeaMonkey in Kubuntu and so I had to put it on my Windows 7 Laptop. Its quick and fast, has stuff built in to keep me organized and up to date on every day events. Reminds me very much of Netscape, and then I read it was sort of a continuation of it. Boy it reminds me of the old days of Netscape Navigator, and the days when they used to charge for alternative browsers we have come a long way! I would download this and sit aside 20 minutes to learn the features of this. The address book, composer, email client are all built in so there are no additional downloads or guess work how to add on something.
