  I have used Screenshot Captor for a couple of years now and find it to be a powerful and user-friendly tool. It has more features than most snipping tools - it is a robust capture tool. While I mostly capture sections of on-screen material, I occasionaly need to grab an entire page that doesn't all fit on my monitor screen so I started using the scrolling screen capture feature. I wasn't sure how to use it at first and was grateful for the great video tutorial provided that walked me through it.I really can't say enough good things about this product - I love it.

  Cons

  I haven't had any problems using the tool - it's been very stable. I often wonder why it's shareware and not a retail product. I did "donate" to use the product after testing it for a while. It's easily as good or better than any commercial product I have used.

  Pros

  I only had a passing interest in a screen capture application, until I started messing with this. It's well designed and has proven more practical and more versatile than I would have guessed.

  Cons

  So far the only thing I have had issues with is paint and text contrasts and transparency, but a minor complaint for what it's worth.

  Summary

  My first project using this free download saved me so many HOURS over what I had been using that I immediately went to the "Donation coder" site and donated $50! I have seldom so well spent $50. Literally, this application has already saved me many dozens of hours while enabling me to do things that were only difficult if not impossible to do before. I love it.

  Awesome product. I wanted to be able to take a picture of just a certain area and not have to put it in paint and then crop and then save, this does it all for me super easy! it will also float on top of everything else... nice...! thanks!!!

  Pros

  One of very few select free screenshot programs which can capture an entire Web-page. The customizable 'Scroll + Capture' Routine not only works on entire Web-Pages but with its customizable scroll-commands it can be used with pretty much any program.

  Too many features and effects can result in too much playing around ;-)

  I have screen capture on Windows 8 but for some reason it stopped working. SO, I found this and it works well for what I need it for: A quick snapshot of a page. It has other features too, editing etc. which I haven't explored yet, but for what I need it for it works just fine. I suppose once I get used to it the editing features will come in handy someday too.

  Cons

  So far, absolutely none. The license code (free) to get it going can be a pain..it's a little more involved than it usually is with these things, but for a free program I have no complaints. The only complaint I have is with my screen capture on Windows 8. Yesterday it worked fine!

  Summary

  I had no problems with anything downloading this. No toolbar boxes to check off..nothing. It's a little more involved than hitting the Windows and Print Screen buttons, but it does the trick.
