Though it claims to create professional-style screensavers, this program's finished products actually come closer to the amateur level. The app lets you create customized screensavers from your own images and music, then add a variety of effects. However, since the interface is littered with icons and isn't very direct, we recommend using the wizard. Though it has almost every tool you'll need to build a screensaver for your own desktop, Screensaver XP doesn't have any features professionals will need. For example, you can't add a license agreement or author information, both of which would be necessary were you to release your creation to the public. Another downside is that the trial version adds a watermark and restricts you to just five images. what good is a 5 picture slideshow? of course you can upload a 100 pictures to just find out you cant make it into a screensaver slideshow. it wasted a lot of my time and will waste yours. DO NOT DOWNLOAD unless you know beforehand that you will spend the $15.00 to buy it. THIS PROGRAM SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THIS SITE BECAUSE OF IT'S USELESSNESS.
