It is very stable, a breeze to use and does not hog system resources in standby mode. I have used this quite heavily for over a year.
Cons
I have not found any flaws with it.
Summary
Screenhunter sets out to do a limited set of tasks and perform them excellently. The settings are easy to understand. When in standby mode, it is there to take your screenshot at the click of a button. Very good and user-friendly!

It's handy to have a scree capture at the press of one hot-key. This works well for screen captures and for captures of windows that don't require scrolling.
Cons
This product will not capture the full content of windows that require scrolling.

I want a screen capture program that hides nicely in the background, and that it can save the files in different places every time. Anyway, great for others, just not flexible enough for me.

You push an F-key, you tell it what you want captured, and it does it. Simple.
Cons
If you want a fancier graphic format, it won't do that. It does BMP, JPG and GIF. (I do a lot of fancy stuff including web design, and these have been adequate for me.)
It uses 12Mb of RAM in Standby (a little high).Summary

Summary
There are no hassles in using this application to capture screenshots. You can set your preference ahead of time. For me, who does a lot of screen captures, you can set your shortcut ahead of time, and select if you want to save the picture to clip board or file. Once you select it, you can capture the screen whereever you want, to any size you want, and it saves automatically. And there is no confirmation window or anything, so you can continue your work without being bothered. For me, that's the biggest perk. Other screenshot applications require you to push buttons and open and close windows, which are very annoying.
This software even comes with a zoom-in window around your cursor, so you can capture a rectangular area very precisely.
I can't think of any improvements that can be added on to this already fine software.
