From Matthias Hofmann:
Scord was designed to find improvisation scales/keys for a given chord progression. If you have songs and you do not know which scale/key to use for improvisation Scord is the application to find out.During improvisation you can use one of the matching scales and leave out the missing chord tones as computed by Scord. (see Screenshot). All scales are determined based on set of notes of the related chord progression whereupon the top scale detected by Scord generally is the progression key.Note that Scord cannot detect enharmonic change. Scord only detects chord tones missing in the scale and not vice versa. E.g. if you have a progression completely in G-Maj and there is a "B7"-Chord Scord only detects "d#" and not "d" as missing tone. In most cases this should be sufficient.Keep in mind that the ears decide and not the computer. But if you have a complicated chord progression or if you want to learn about scales Scord is your tool.
