"New version is way better than the old."
Version: Scate Ignite 4 Professional 4.1
Pros
I like the new interface, much easier to understand. Also, now that they have free hosting at ignitecast.com, I can easily share my courses with others.
Cons
Need more output formats, but I'm sure they'll get to that!

"This is way too easy"
Version: Scate Ignite 4 Professional 3.1.0.1
Pros
I have been holding stand up handheld workshops for 5 years and did not know how to even get started publishing online courses. In less than an hour I created my first lesson by just copying in my PowerPoints and videos without any training. My life is much easier

"Great for presentations, courses, proposals, etc..."
Version: Scate Ignite 4 Professional 3.1.0.1
Pros
I create elearning for a living, but I find myself using Ignite for presentations and proposals as well. The main reason is that a link to a web location is by far the easiest way to distribute information, and Ignite makes it easy to format my PowerPoints and documents for the web. Add text and voice, and voila! I've got something far more effective than just sending the original file as an attachment.
I reviewed the screen capture/record products carefully before deciding on this one. Based on what I've seen so far, I found the right one!
I think pretty much anybody could use this thig with no formal training.
Cons
None... so far.

"Absolutely beyond every expectation, incredible product!"
Version: Scate Ignite 4 Professional 3.1.0.1
Pros
To start, I am a veteran training / learning developer. This product beats every player in the SCORM compliant learning segment with price alone. With all the features of competing productsthat cost 3-10 times as much, plus many unique features to boot, with the super-affordable Expert version that makes compatible content and you can purchase and give to those who develop your content, Ignite Pro Studio has just given a wake-up call to the learning and training industry. How wonderful for a company to make such power affordable to all. Kudos to SCATE, and my hat is off. I now feel bad for the thousands spent on Macromedia products when this is so much better, faster and easier. You are my new favorite software manufacturer!

"Incredibly easy to use."
Version: Scate Ignite 4 Professional 3.0.1.3
Pros
What's really different about Pro Sudio is that I can use it to create my own online courses, and I'm not a computer expert at all. I've never been able to use the more complicated tools, nor could I afford the time to learn them. I created my first course in Pro Studio within 20 minutes!
Cons
Would be nice if it had some kind of a slide sorter with thumbnails, but thats not a big issue.
