"YOU WANT US TO PAY FOR FREE SOFTWARE?"
Pros: This is ridiculous! It's nothing more than a wrapper on the free Tesseract OCR engine! This guy expects us to pay for free software. Pretty soon there will be 10 different FREE GUI's for Tesseract. Why should someone pay for what is free software, get a clue!

Pros: I have tried a few scanning apps but this is the only one that works with my Brother MFC 7820n scanner when using the auto document feed. The pdf files produced were excellent quality. recommended

"Easy to use and better than Freeocr"
Pros: I tried Freeocr but had problems with scans that contain images and Scanwiz lets you choose zones to OCR which works great.
I also like the fact that you can scan to PDF which is worth the price tag alone.
Cons: It would be nice if the program produced searchable PDF's but perhaps that will be in an update.

"Great product that just WORKS"
Pros: Looking for a reasonably priced replacement to Paperport after upgrading to Vista 64 bit. I tried Scanwiz for a few days and found it easy to use, unobtrusive, and a great solution for me.
Cons: Can't think of anything I don't like.
