    "Very nice product!"

    May 5, 2012  |   By Jboy65

    * Extremely easy to use - not a lot of reading necessary, 5 min & go

    * Works perfectly - auto-cropping, everything works marvelously

    * Beats the heck out of scanning 1 at a time and manually cropping!

    * Can't adjust jpeg compression settings, but definitely learning to accept that, may even like the whole TIFF thing better. What I mean is, I've always done jpeg, especially since "the old days" when storage space was so expensive and connections were so slow. EG: this software will scan tiff, jpeg, or both simultaneously, and at 600 dpi, a 4x6 pic is around 10 mb in tiff, 560k in jpeg. I did both on my first couple of scans and compared each, found effectively no difference. Still on the fence which way want to go, but at least have 'that' option.

Stop scanning 1 pic at a time and buy it!

Addendum: after using for 24 hours, I love it even better! My new favorite feature is the built-in safety. If you've ever done gonzo scanning of old pics, you know that you look on the workspace area and think "did I save that scan, can I hit the button and start the next one?" Well, this software is ingenious in that you can't mess up - the "start new scan" button isn't available UNTIL YOU HAVE - SWEET! I love to see good programming in action.
