"NOT FREE ! ON A TRIAL BASIS."
Pros: Scans to pdf but....
Cons: The trial version places the company log on every scan ...it's annoying.
Summary: IT'S NOT FREE. What is the sense in giving the user a 20 day trial period if your going to place the software name on every page ...it's bull. Avoid at all cost. read more

"error messages (I think that's what they are)in German!"
Pros: at this point I've nothing positive to say..
Cons: Ate up all available RAM and could not complete a 40-page scan
Summary: Didn't work for me, and as a non-German speaker I don't know why. read more

Version: Scan2PDF 1.7
Pros: Fast, easy to use. I remember my HP Director taking ages to scan. Using the pro feature helps scanning multiple pages at once and save as a single pdf document. On top of everything it is FREE.
Cons: You need to play around with settings before you get optimal size and zoom you want. But no qualms otherwise.

"Fantastic. Does what it says on the tin...scan -> pdf"
Pros: Easy to use (press the scan button, scan, press the save button and it saves).
Does what it says it does, no requests for money. A real gem.Cons: Most of the settings are in German. However, you don't need to set many/any of these for the basic Scan->PDF function.
