"FASTEST browser hands down!"
Pros: I am amazed that so few people have downloaded this browser (at least from this site) I am not a computer tech but I am alot more informed than your average user. I have tried most browsers and while I dont recall any that didnt improve upon IE, this was by far the biggest improvement in my opinion. The difference in the amount of time websites take to load is just ridiculous. Do you remember how Firefox seemed to load pages twice as fast as IE the first time you used it? Well, Safari for Windows had the same effect for me! It is just stupid fast compared to any other browser, not to mention that the rendering and fonts appear so much smoother (Im using Opera to type this review... I'll explain in the cons) As I'm typing this the fonts feel like I'm using DOS! I also love the bookmarks in Safari...Its awesome how they all sit on the bar...no scrolling thru lists. I have used this on several machines with different hardware and it has been a HUGE improvement in each case! The only thing I can think of when people say Safari is slow is that some people may be using outdated computers. Yes, I have noticed that Safari uses more memory. This is not a concern for me as when I'm browsing the web, I'm not doing anything else. For me,this browser is by far the fastest and thats the most important thing for browsing...SPEED!!
Cons: I mentioned above that I'm using Opera right now....The only reason for this is that I recently switched my OS to Ubuntu (do it!) and Safari isnt available as far as I know. I do have my laptop dual booting Ubuntu and Vista and ironically the only thing that has been faster for me in Vista as opposed to Ubuntu has been Safari! Please make it available for Linux NOW!!
