    Version: Safari 3.0.3 public beta

"Fast and ugly does the trick"

    by merlot_1 on August 19, 2007

Pros: Elegant? lol..it's the ugliest browser I have ever used. But I like it. Maybe it has something to do with my processer, but Safari opens web pages faster and downloads software faster than my other three browsers do, (Opera, Firefox, and IE7). Sill in beta, when the final version of Safari comes out, it should be a force to reckon with, and might get some IE users to switch over. Opera and Firefox users are in kind of a cult, they will never, NEVER, switch because each thinks their bowser is the best.! I am not loyal to ANY browser, I just want the fastest!

    "Theres to many other options."

    by Chainmail2006 on August 16, 2007

Pros: I just didn't like this browser. They say it's fast. They call it elegant. I did not find either of these to be true.

Cons: I wasted my time downloading and installing this browser. I find nothing whatsoever

good about it. When you have "Firefox", "Opera" and several good "Internet Explorer" alternatives this is useless. It does not look good, it's not as fast as my others and I found nothing special about it at all. This is a waste of time for a "Vista" system.

    Version: Safari 3.0.4 public beta

    "Improved Beta"

by Stefan. on December 7, 2007

Pros: Many bugs in 3.0.3 have been fixed. Fast and secure. Simplicity leads to ease of use. You can travel through the Internet with confidence with Safari.

Cons: Sometimes a printout from Safari will not have some graphics from the printed page (e.g., this page). Still, customization is still not possible. Hopefully, customizations will be available once Safari for Windows finishes Beta testing.

    Version: Safari 4.0 beta

    "Too Too Too Beta..."

by gcasanova on June 11, 2007

Pros: The idea of safari for Windows.

Cons: Crashes, doesn't render pages well, some text is shown as lines...

Great Idea and I hope they fix all the problems but while in this state of Beta 3, I won't use it.

I'm trying it in Windows XP
