"I am a new MAC user and I liked this product"
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
Works great, I downloaded from apple.
Cons
There is nothing I don't like about this program
Summary
It is great to not have to be distracted by all the ads.

"Doesnt work"
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
None. None. How many characters does it take to say none?
Cons
Useless. More useless (to fill up characters)
Summary
Installed it, went to a site that usually blocks fine in firefox - no effect. Waste of time.
-
"not a standard Mac program, nor a Safari plug-in"
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
Not sure, can't see any effet yet
Cons
Easy to install but not to remove. Doesn't do what its Windows counterpart does. Not sure if it does anything. It installed, but now I can't find it!
Summary
It's so "simple" and "transparent" I can't tell it's there, nor can I figure out how to remove it! :-( Unlike the Win version, it won't block flash ads, which is what I wanted it for to begin with.

"Doesn't seem to do the job. Disappointed!"
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
Installs easily.
Cons
Doesn't seem to do the job it was designed to do.
Summary
I have a hackintosh (Dell 10v) running OSX 10.5.8. I installed AdBlock 0.4.0. Restarted. Went back to the problem site, and no difference. Ads galore. Very frustrating! Going to look for something else because this clearly isn't doing it.

"Works great"
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
At the websites I have visited so far, the ads are gone. I have a Mac Book w/Snow Leopard.
Cons
None at all
Summary
The first install didn't work for some reason which was from Cnet. I did go to the apple website and downloaded there and it worked. Who knows what it was...magic or just a little glitch.

"Doesn't Work"
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
For Firefox works great, blocks ads
Cons
Doesn't work in Safari.
Summary
This version of AdBlock only if you run Safari in 32-bit mode. The question is, of course, why would you take a browser that runs natively in 64-bit in Snow Leopard and force it to run in 32-bit mode? Unacceptable. If you can't make a plugin that works correctly with the latest version of OS X you shouldn't have made it at all.
-
"didn't work"
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
didn't work
Cons
didn't work
Summary
installed it, reopened Safari, and still had ads...never worked...
-
"Seems to do just what it says it will."
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
non intrusive
Cons
This space intentionally left blank :)
Summary
Says it's gonna block ads, and it does. (I don't know what to write in the 4914 characters I have left to fill.)
-
"Won't let me reply to emails"
Version: Safari AdBlock 0.4.0 RC3
Pros
Works well with Firefox.
Cons
The latest Safari version refuses to allow me to reply to emails (Yahoo). When I click reply, it sets up a new message with the previous subject line OK but no copy of it in the body and won't let me type a new message either.
Summary
I've had to disable the previous version for function problems, and now this latest one. I'll stick with Firefox.
-

Pros

Didn't have to configure it.Cons
