Version: SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition 3.2.1028
Pros: Every two or three weeks with upgrades and updating of defs one to three times daily, this app just keeps improving. Very light on ram and getting quicker with each upgrade. Still free and still the best!!!
Cons: any cons you can find are remedied quickly.

Pros: Low CPU usage while it sets in the tray> (?? see cons), finds adware cookies( i try to keep my machine clean, so that was the only thing it found)all points beside good program for the price.
Cons: long winded scan in quick scan, sets in system tray for some reason. when right clicked to see options says (enable real time protection = must upgrade)(view blocked spyware application = must upgrade)but basically the only useful thing there is the (Scan, check for updates and help)(why have tell a friend, whats new in this release,and find out whats running on your computer, and contact customer support which take you to different websites) or any of this running in the background when it should be in the apps menu on the all programs menu.) if i had the upgraded version yes i would want it running in the background. other than that no major problems.

Pros: easy to use, quick scan times, easily updated, this is what the paid version of spyware doctor does but for free a must download along with ad-aware and spybot

"One of the best free anti spyware"
Pros: Im sure this tool should be rating 5 stars by cnet. It performed well and faster even if u select advance scan. Interfaces design most stylish than some antispyware
Cons: yes real-time protection not available but that not important at all since u can got it best from ZoneAlarm

"Even free, it;'s not very effective."
Pros: But, hey, you get what you pay for. Other then the spyware guard, it's the same application as the paid version. It runs fine with "Vista" but unlike someone else, I had no problems uninstalling it. Maybe thats on "Vista'. But I have no doubts it could be a problematic application. I've read some reviews and comments that said "you can never be over protected". I just don't think thats true. With good software installed, extra applications that you don't use often aren't necessary, just wasted disk space. But, I guess if you are depending on free security for your computer, it can't hurt to have it.
Cons: It ran slow, even on a powerful machine. It found nothing. The GUI reminds me of "AVG Free" , it's horrible. The data base is small. Very small if you compare it to "A-Squared Free 3". It's much better at everything then this one and has a huge data base. Thats what I recommend if you need a good, free, malware scanner.
