"Not a fan of SRS labs or DFX."

I have no opinion, because Sandbox did not work.
Cons
It does not work with my computer. DFX and SRS are similar as they both over boost the treble, but do not enhance the music.
Summary
Check out Breakaway, it is much better then any others. It gives you the right amount of sound balance and adjustments.

They should give it a more beautiful interface just like SRS HD Audio Lab or Essentials.

Slow install, had to mess with my computer's configuration to make the program happy. Killed the sound completely, no matter what settings were changed. Couldn't get my sound back until I uninstalled it and rebooted.
Summary
This wasn't worth the bandwidth to download, let alone the $30.00 they have the audacity to ask for it. It's excrement.

SRS HD was unstable on my Windows 7 machine.

After several months it became flaky. I uninstalled it and this cured a couple of problems. When I tried to re-install the install program hangs. I used the task manager to kill the install program.
SRS has not responded to requests for help. They don't really seem to have a customer support organization -

Simple but powerful software. Comes with music presets -- but there is an advanced controls tab for more options. Audio that is flat is given body. Easily accessible from the system tray and opens with media players (by default, I believe).
Cons
Sometimes when you turn it on or off, the speakers will pop.
Summary
This is the perfect complement to any speaker system. Bass is improved exponentially. Vocal clarity is improved. Sounds that would be otherwise indiscernible are brought to the forefront. And it's all done seamlessly. Many patented SRS technologies -- SRS WOW HD, SRS TruSurround XT, etc. -- are packaged into this affordable software. Word of caution: use only when audio quality is mediocre. It's powerful software, but you have to know when to use it ;) Too much loudness can shorten the life of your speakers. But all in all, SRS and Dolby can be mentioned in the same breath!

after installing ,sound is better than before.recommended for those who have stereo speakers.

my only problem is that it does not work with many games.i only get sound from the headphones.no sound from my 5.1 even though auto mode selected.if i choose manually wow mode only two speakers have sound .this is the major problem!!
Summary
if want good sound for music go for it ,but if want good sound for games don't look for it.

garbage that wants you to download pro version so you can get surround sound.
Further research proven that is impossible. Spyware that was downloaded with this program blew out all my sound. Uninstalled, and sound came back.Removed spyware.Summary
