On windows xp fully updated pentium 4 this program used all of my memory to the point the PC got stuck and hung.
On trying to uninstall, the program wouldn't and I had to do a system restore to remove it.Summary
My advice is 'do not bother' use malwarebytes instead as this spamfighter is RUBBISH!

refused to open for several days -could not get the offical site to rectify so now I'll have to format my hard drive to get rid of the program because it will not uninstall
Summary
I was not impressed with the product and I don't think that it was catching spam . I double checked it with another program and that program picked up on spam/spyware.

If I could tell you something that I liked about it, I would.

Two days ago I tried to install it but to no avail. Next evening tried again, this time it worked. That was only the start of my problems. It wouldn't scan and update. Why it has to do it both together, I don't know. I tried to update it by itself, no good. So I put it on a scan and after ten minutes the progress bar hadn't moved at all so I gave it up as a bad job.
In the meantime Arovax Shield, Spinach and Win Patrol were going mental about something trying to access the start up which I had agreed to but pop up windows warning me still appeared.....I uninstalled it.
If you like hassle....download it.
If you don't, steer clear.

It is a waste of your time. It has been a long time since I gave a review on Download.com/Cnet, but I installed this progam and let it run for over 14 hours and it never did say it was through, it showed that zero files had been scaned after all this time. I started the program a 2nd time and let it run for almost 8 hours with the same results.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE NOTHING
ELSE TO DO WITH YOUR TIME & LIFE!

It comes from a reputable company that is known for making a high quality and higly trusted antispam product (SPAMfighter)...so you know you are getting a high quality product that should work very well.
Cons
Its not free.
I was unable to get the software to install. Being that this was a long time ago that this was the case, I can't recall whether it was due to crashing or stalling...or maybe neither. I think it had to do something with contacting the server or something. I experienced this on two completely different machines on two very different networks (one at home and one at work).

Way too slow for my taste, took an hour and 55 minutes to scan my memory, registry, files and folders. I am only using 38 GB of a 200 GB hard drive, so on other pcs it could take even longer!
