From Quarto Software:

This version of SNES9X will use InputSprocket on OS 9 or the XGamePadSupport bundle on OS X. It also supports all (or up to) 5 players in games that recognise the hardware. Please note, this is not an 'official' release of SNES9X.

What's new in this version:

  • 5 Player Support in Bomberman family , 4 Player in Super Tetris 3's Famliss mode... This requires the XGamepadSupport Bundle. Keys can be mapped onto the first two players only, gamepds must be used for the rest.
  • This is because most keybaords can generally only register around 4 keys at once anyway, so it would be pointless to have more than two players fighting for these four key-presses.
