"excellent alternative to Nikons Un-user friendly CapNX2"

Off-line registration is too complicated. Why noy just pay,get key and finish?
Summary
A great alternative to Nikons top heavy, un-friendly CapNX2. Not only can I convert Nikon Raw files easily and quickly, but also Leica Raw and others. What a very good program. I would however, like an easier curve adjuster, like Nikons, but the advantages outweigh this and I can manage very well. I am not quite sure about the degree of 'unsharp' adjustment needed yet but I will practice. Trouble is, if you overdo this you can produce some odd results and too much 'grain'. THANK you SO much for providing this user-friendly program that the 'greats' of Nikon and Leica seem unable to do. And it's a fair price too. Very well done cnet this should be more widely advertised.

Pros
Excellent at colour rendition and colour adjustment etc with exceptional quality available. Its better than Photoshop at what it does butdoes not set out to be an image editor. Quick at adding new cameras to its range. Handles both RAW and JPEG.
Cons
Instruction manual is not always easy to follow, though improving. Get the ebook by John Nevill. Interface needs getting accustomed to.
Summary
Very good at what it sets out to do. Having said this, I now use it less because Qimage Studio edition covers most of my RAW conversion needs. Silkypix is there for me when the images need tricky colour adjustment.
