"Never even installed properly"
Version: RssReader 1.0.88
Pros
None.
Cons
Will not install if you don't have a very specific version of .Net Framework. even if you have a newer version, it won't work.

"No-Frills for network environment"
Version: RssReader 1.0.88
Pros
Simple, simple, simple. I'm testing and instaling this for end-users in our office and it appears to be working fine so far. It's simple enough that an end-user can make it work and it doesn't have all the added frills and pre-installed links.
Cons
If you're looking for an "...and the kitchen sink" RSS reader-browser-etc. this isn't for you.

"Excellent free program - rivals those that cost $"
Version: RssReader 1.0.88
Pros
I've tried NewsGator for Outlook and Newzcrawler. They are decent programs, but I ran into technical with each that I was unable to resolve. So far RssReader has worked perfectly, and seems to have all the functionality of 'gator and 'crawler. And, unlike those 2, its free!
Cons
While it is a very usable app, its not as 'pretty' as 'gator or 'crawler, which may turn people off. Maybe that's why its less buggy - developers spent less time on the skin and more on the guts.

"Very disapointed"
Version: RssReader 1.0.88
Pros
If it worked I would be able to say something. Not even worth the one star I had to give it to leave this review
Cons
Never worked right from the start. Asked for help from publisher and never got a reply.

"If you don't need "hand-holding" this program rocks."
Version: RssReader 1.0.88
Pros
Great interface. Nice update/notification feature. I found it very easy to use and it imported an OPML file with my feed list quite nicely.
Cons
It's documentation is poor, but if you are an experienced user and know RSS/Atom aggregators, you don't need much in the way of documentation anyway.

"Number 1 RSS Reader"
Version: RssReader 1.0.72
Pros
Easy install and uninstall, without errors. This is the best RSS Reader I could find and it is free. RssReader has all the necessary functions, works good and looks great. I tested version 1.0.88.0, which I downloaded from his website.
Cons
You have to open the RssReader via the task tray.

Cons

Cons
Poor user interface, doesn't work with user permissions.
-
"Lost all RSS feeds for no apparent reason."
Version: RssReader 1.0.72
Pros
None (bog standard rss reader)
Cons
Worked ok for approx 3 months then lost all RSS feeds for no apparent reason.

"Works reliably and easy to use"
Version: RssReader 1.0.72
Pros
This is a good, solid RSS reader. It seems to work reliably.
A later version can be downloaded directly from the rssreader.com site.
Cons
Occasionally gets slightly confused about which headlines are new, but this may be down to the feeds themselves.
