Version: Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5.4
"A good burning suite, kind of bloated though."
Pros: Its probably gives users the most tools associated with burning and ripping CDs/DVDs.
Comes with a lot of great tools...CD copying, DVD authoring, Data/Audio CD project creation, etc.
Burns .ISO and .CIF images.
Cons: Not free.
Its quite expensive considering there are many freeware burning suites available.
Its kind of bloated.
It only burns .ISO and .CIF images. Programs like Alcohol 120% burn those images and a hell-of-a-lot more.
Neo is probably better for what anyone needs.
A lot of the tools provided with the suite no one will ever use.

"Disappointing results and issues"
Pros: Interface looked nice and easy to use
Cons: Clearly designed for Audio. Did not have help function or ability to burn dvd (as promoted). None of the extras worked on the version I downloaded...what a waste of 99MB of download. Finally download.com Version is a 14 day trial (not stated on site).

"Sonic Solutions Roxio E.M. Creator 7.5"
Pros: Well, first to begin off of my speech, I should say that I am pretty satisfied of this product, is an accomplishment of what Sonic Solutions have jogged up with Roxio. When you do purchase the product, make sure you DO think back of other products. For an example, I was using Nero's Burning products at the same time, but then I just chose Roxio. It sure works great, nice user-friendly interface that just makes and also forces you about the pros of their recent product, but that's not it.
Cons: Unfortunatly, there are some cons about this product that does spoil the package. When I first installed it on my Windows 2000 P.C., it took up so much space of the hard drive. I should also mention the product pricing. Somewhat reasonable, but not the average. I don't know what else to say about this product, except to give it 4 stars, which sure is equal to 80% score.

"Problems - Company Software is Defective!!!"
Pros: Has a beautiful interface but software is defective!!!
Cons: I tried Sonic Digital Media Plus 7 by this company which came on my Compaq Presario V2000 Notebook. It would never install properly as I would get into a installation loup where it kept asking for the "source disk" I replaced the HP sofware installation CD and still had the same issue. Recently I even purchased a retail copy and I still had problems. My advice is DO NOT PURCHASE SONIC OR ROXIO PRODUCTS...SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY

Version: Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5.4
Cons: Huge Program, almost 1 gig! Slow to use.
I'd heard that Nero 7 was bad, so i brought Roxio 8. Infact, i should have probably found an old copy of Nero 6!
Roxio 8 didnt burn CDs, so I uninstalled it, but it didnt uninstall propperly. Had to delete not only 'Roxio' but also 'Sonic' folders in my C Drive. My registry key program (JV2006) found around 280 elements that we're not deleted.
Even now when i try to burn a CD there's a "Roxio EMC Stream: Confirm Stress Loss error" comes up on my computer. Now where is it hiding on my computer?!
Forget huge programs, just go for simple ones, peace! j
