"Great product for the price/size"
Version: Room Arranger 3.6
Summary
Very useful product if you're trying to work out how your furniture is going to fit in your accomodation or you're trying to sell your accomodation.
Downsides are that you cannot edit/add bitmaps to objects (e.g. textures) and you cannot distribute finished designs for other user to walk around in 3d mode without the program. -
"Couldn't download-corrupt program"

"Terrific Little Product"
Version: Room Arranger 3.6
Summary
For $20, you just can't beat it. Only thing I didn't like was having to go into Project Properties to edit walls. To me, walls should be objects like any other. That said, this is a terrific product, and gets you USEFUL results in a hurry. The 3D walkthrough is incredibly nifty and helps you troubleshoot problems quickly. Decent collection of objects, too. Note: You'll need to download a VRML plugin for Netscape or IE to get the 3D walkthrough to work. Very worthwhile.

"Excellent Value"
Version: Room Arranger 3.6
Summary
I'm enlarging our bathroom. This little program was just great. After 30 mins of learning the ropes on it, I was moving walls, placing doors, cabinets & fixtures with ease. It comes with many common household objects predefined and you can build others from basic shapes. I built an oval pedestal sink. The icing on the cake is the 3D walkthough that can be generated.
My wife and I were able to experiment with several layouts and easily visualize them using the 3D views. I'm sure there are more powerful CAD tools out there, but this is quite sufficient for the average homeowner, easy to learn and it's only $20 ! -
"Excellent. Highly recommended."
Version: Room Arranger 3.6
Summary
I'm using it to decide how to turn an attic into 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It was easy to create an object for the chimney and lock it and the stairs down. Then I can easily move and rotate things like the tub, toilet and sink to figure out how to lay out the bathroom. Adding walls is a little more cumbersome, because you can't just drag them around; you have to put in the exact coordinates (which makes sense -- normally you're not going to be rearranging walls.) The fact that you can do something like this with a <1 Mb app is amazing. It's a great blend of flexibility/functionality and ease-of-use.

"Fantastic Room Layout Software!"
Version: Room Arranger 3.6
Summary
I looked quite a bit to find such software and was pleased to find this. I'd recommend this to anyone moving into a new home or who just wants to find a better (or different) arrangement for their furniture. Haven't tried the 3-d possibilities yet, but the 2-d features work fine. I think professional designers would find this helpful and certainly affordable. Would recommend the product name be altered as I had trouble finding it when I searched for "CAD", "Interior Design", and "Layout".

"Quickly design and layout any space..."
Version: Room Arranger 3.6
Summary
I needed to quickly layout a retail space and did not want to spend the bucks on Visio. Downloaded and installed with no problems and I was quickly creating and laying out shelving for a 10,000 square foot space.
Good library of objects, but just as easy to create your own shape, any size. Just right click and play with the menus.
It's the 20th century version of cutting out paper shapes of furniture and pushing them around on paper. Big thumbs up! -
"error in installation"
Version: Room Arranger 3.6
Summary
couldn't use the program, incomplete download and/or installation error
