    "To each their own."

    May 14, 2015  |   By blaice

    Version: RogueKiller 10.6.3

    Pros

Incredibly fast install, and did exactly what I installed it for. That which both spybot search and destroy, and malwarebytes could not accomplish. I got a random bitcoin miner trojan that would constantly reinstall itself even after i ended the process tree and deleted the temp file imitating svchost.exe file.

Roguekiller immediately, and quickly destroyed the threat without need of restart (unlike malwarebytes).

    Cons

None. The scan speed is lightning fast, but not light speed?

    Summary

To each their own with antispyware. I am starting to realize, the more the better though!

    "Helped me a lot"

    January 12, 2015  |   By SMBAXER1265

    Version: RogueKiller 10.1.2

    Pros

this located the Trojan where even others could not. I got the specific folder where the Trojan was working from (and registry)

    Cons

It could not fix the issue, but because I had the full path of the offender, I just took permissions off the folder and resolved it my own way

    Summary

I would have this in my toolkit

    "good program"

    December 13, 2014  |   By Biff303

    Version: RogueKiller 9.0.3

    Pros

was the ONLY program that was able to cure my powliks virus problem.

    Cons

had to run the cure twice to get it to stick. I don't think I was fast enough deleting the .dll file after rogue killer killed it.

    Summary

like pure gold if you are infected with powerliks

    Updated on Jan 2, 2015

I have found the poweliks virus to be pretty tenacious. I still recommend running RogueKiller to get rid of it. But then I would run ESETpowelikscleaner.exe available from ESET to get rid of any lingering root issues.

    "Excellent!"

    June 20, 2014  |   By PitoDaddy

    Version: RogueKiller 9.0.3

    Pros

    It cleaned my computer immediately.

    Cons

There are no cons of which I'm aware.

    Summary

Rogue Killer removed a pesky virus/rootkit that was causing advertisements and music to start playing through my speakers automatically without even having a browser open. It would start with a clicking sound coming from my speakers (the sound that you might hear when you open a file on your computer with a mouse). The clicking sound was then followed by either a Geico insurance ad, or Spanish music playing from a radio station, I believe. It would continue on and off continuously until I logged off of my computer. I tried to remove it in safe mode with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit Beta, Avast Antivirus, SUPERAntiSpyware, Microsoft Security Essentials, and CCleaner, but none of these programs even detected the infection. RogueKiller, however, got rid of it right away. It is the real deal. It worked for me when others failed.

"Ignore the fake review, works great"

    January 3, 2014  |   By JarkoLovic

    Version: RogueKiller 8.6.3

    Pros

Quick and light, nothing to install.

    Cons

Not "real time" protection, but it's not supposed to be.

    Summary

First thing to run when have an infected computer, it almost always cleans/squashes/stops malicious code enough for me to get the system running again and undo the damage.

Had to laugh at the bad attempts by "Darren Dheilly" to knock this product. He either clicked in the wrong spot on the web page and downloaded something else or is completely confused. There are no other products installed, it runs as an .exe. Then he tried to reply (and attack another reviewer) as a different person, but didn't bother to change his login name.

"Does what it says. There is no installation needed."

    November 11, 2013  |   By Area_Fifty_One

    Version: RogueKiller 8.6.3

    Pros

Darren Dheilly is dead wrong, is a liar and must be working for another software product. Check reviews on other software sites. I have used this in an enterprise environment and it found Zero Access malware - something that Malware Bytes, MS Security Essentials and Kaspersky didn't uncover. There is NO installation needed, you run an executable file when you need it.

    Cons

Does not run to catch malware before it installs on your computer. It only runs "manually".

    Summary

Glad I found this software and was able to remove Zero Access malware from our accounting department computer.

"Beware !!! It need a Minus 1 star..."

    September 3, 2013  |   By Darren Dheilly

    Version: RogueKiller 8.6.3

    Pros

It was a good one once. but now, it does not work all all. It is terrible... Slows system well,.. as it loaded it's nifty Malware too... Every update is worse.

    Cons

I used to work nice, removed crap and malware, The updated version did not do anything. The last version (Now) is even worse. It needs all these extra programs (Express_installer, Vune, Optimum Installer, a tool bar and install this and that) and it will not download the "Rogue Killer" app. It just wants you to install all this other Crap. My system stopped saying : The application was reported as unsafe. So I had to clean all the crap it gave me... A regedit showed all sorts of Junk it installed in my Registry. A system restore put me back to an OK state...

    Summary

Make sure you have a valid restore point if you try to get this package, or better yet - stay away from it...

    Updated on Feb 24, 2015

RogueKiller ? Their is a lot better ? I was
bashed by Jarkolovic and the little baby,
Area_Fifty"_one. Two newbies, I Ignore. So
RogueKiller - try it, maybe you will like it. I did not. I found better Maleware Removers,
all the free stuff is always either a hit or a
    miss.

    Version: RogueKiller 8.6.1

    Pros

Very easy to use an excellent tool to keep at all times w/ our main anti-virus suite!

    Cons

    Nope. Can't think of any

    Summary

My Windows XP got hit w/ so many God knows what and Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 was suppose to be protecting it! Well I found someone w/ my same problems on a tech site 'BleepingComputer' and they mentioned Roguekiller caught a few things Malwarebytes missed. After using all the usual tools and tips then being told my pc seemed clean now ..something still wasnt quite right. I tried Roguekiller and low and behold! It caught the last slippery lil trojan and brought my old rig back lol. Now I have a spanking new pc and I NEVER go w/o this as a spare ..Tigzy is da man!
