  "The very best freeware security applications ever!"

  Version: Rising Antivirus Free Edition 23.0.24.98

  Pros

  Very simple GUI, combined with regular updates and virus definitions. More importantly, it is super-powerful with its complete protection options: BOOT-SCANS, MEMORY-CHECKS, QUICK... COMPLETE... AND CUSTOMIZED SCANS... all included and many more features for FREE! This is a must-have for every PC user; you'll never need anything else or any subscription fees, if you're a personal user.

  Cons

  Somewhat unclear about if this program can be used on more than 1 computer. Additionally, I'd like Rising Global to consider an all-in-one file, combining their Rising Personal Anti-Virus, Personal Firewall & PC Doctor applications into one (50-100 MB) file. (When I first tried this program it was about that size just for only the Rising Free Anti-Virus program alone...)

  Summary

  Essential Program for protecting your PC(s). Again, minor improvements suggested (see cons) for preferences and conviences. Good, stable program overall!

  "my first time to use the Rising NO PROBLEM."

  so far so good with my pc running winXP.

  Cons

  none whatsoever at this point of time.

  Summary

  i'll continue to use rising security softwares (free editions) and give it a try. i have used well known and accepted security softwares before, mostly free editions, why not give this product a chance. so far it's doing good so far. thanks to the developers.
