"Not intuative / Not easy to switch between listen & record"
Version: RipCast 1.9
Pros
It's good to be able to record streams but....
Cons
Same issues as stated in the summary. Lack of simple nav buttons back and forth make use miserable. Recording starts or stops at random locations. You got something better???

"Basic sound product, few flaws, works as designed"
Version: RipCast 1.9
Pros
After using the free trial version of this product for several months I decided to purchase the software for $18. The trial version allows you to d-load only 30 mb of music at a time and then auto-stops. Now I can d-load unlimited songs, and fill up my mp3 player with songs I like that I never would have thought to d-load in the first place! 80's, classics, downtempo, you name it. Song splitting/tagging is a great feature and not standard in similar products from what I have seen. Overall very sound product for next to nothing. Other similar products cost around $50! This one doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but that's just fine with me.
Cons
One of the drawbacks is the song splitting is not always perfect, in other words can cut a song off too early or too late (adding the first few seconds of the next radio song onto the previous song). I find that the Internet based stations such as SKY.FM work well with it in respect to the song splitting. I mostly use those. You can also get free software off of download.com that allows you to split songs at your specified time.
