"Awesome Program"
Version: RipCast 1.9
Summary
I have been using RipCast off and on for about 2 years. The first time I downloaded this program, I was totaly amazed at how fast your mp3 collection can grow. Now with all the newer features and improved performance, its even better than before. This is such a great program for anybody who has broadband and would like to get there MP3 collection started. One thing that really amazes me is how accurately each song starts downloading from start to finish with virtually no early of late cut off. This is definately worth the nomonal fee for all its performance!

"My streamripping software of choice now..."
Version: RipCast 1.9
Summary
I used to be very happy with Streamripper v1.54 for Winamp. But since Digitally Imported Radio went to a subscription based service I gave Ripcast a try. It is able to Rip password protected streams and unlike the version of streamripper I was using, it does not pick up lag. All mp3 data is recombined. Can be set up to auto-queue songs for playing in Winamp and can play songs in the middle of download. Good stability for the most part, though rarely after a night of ripping, I will come back to a frozen system. Not sure if this is Ripcasts fault or my flaky system. Overall I really like this piece of software, totally worth it for what it offers at $17.95, though I don't think it would take much to get FREE Streamripper up to this level.

"A very efficient and easy to use program for ripping music from internet radio stations"
Version: RipCast 1.9
Summary
Downloaded and set up without hitch. Ripcast automatically defaults to "Shoutcast," Winamp's collection of internet radio sites, but I believe you can rip music from any site off any network. Click on "Tune in" and you are givin the choice of ripping or simply playing the song. Mp3's go in the folder of your choice and are catalogued for future reference. I really like the interface on this software, too. Highly recommended program.
