Summary
I was previously using a program called Sharetones before it, for some unknown reason, stopped connecting to the server it needed to do anything. I loved Sharetones and thought it was the end-all be-all for making iPhone ringtones. I found and downloaded Ringtone Maker, and i must say, it is very comparable in ease of use and functionality. I would recommend this program especially to anyone looking for a replacement to Sharetones.

"Windows iPhone users- You must MUST have this program!!"
Version: Ringtone Maker 1.6
Pros
Allows you to convert MP3s, MP4s, WAVs and FLVs into Apple's stupid, proprietory ringtone format.
Cons
None, except that this program even needs to exist at all!
Summary
When I finally got an iPhone and found out that you cannot use or create your own ringtones because Apple are money-grubbing jerks and don't allow MP3 files as ringtones simply to force you to buy them in their proprietory .m4r format, I nearly threw the iPhone in the garbage! I though Macs were all about the individual and creativity and freedom?! They are not. They are all about locking you into a standard that they have a monopoly on and then price gouging you for it. They're worse than Microsoft. I only, ONLY gave in and got the iPhone because its become the standard. And now that it is Steve Jobs is making Bill Gates look like Mother Teresa! Apple blows!
