"Repetitive"
Version: Rings of the Magi 2.0
Summary
This game is OK, but with 300 levels with the same type of puzzle in each, it soon become repetitive and boring. I only did 12 levels and then uninstalled it.

"Er, yes it does (re: windowed)"
Version: Rings of the Magi 2.0
Summary
Granted, you gotta read the help doc to find how to do it, it's a command-line switch, but I play it in windowed mode all the time without any trouble at all. I've had a lot of fun with it.

"love/hate relationship"
Version: Rings of the Magi 2.0
Summary
I'm wasting way too much time with this game! I've solved most of the puzzles, but I can't figure out the Master #1 puzzle, and it is driving me crazy! I have a love/hate relationship with this game! I love to play it, but hate it that I can't solve it! I thought the graphics were a bit too dark, I had to turn up the brightness on my screen! Found the hidden game! Hee hee hee!

"Unstable... Major mouse problems"
Version: Rings of the Magi 2.0
Summary
Nice looking, but moving the mouse cursor in this game TAKES FOREVER!!! There seems to be a delayed reaction almost 2 or 3 seconds. Unplayable. A shame, because I would have liked to play.

"Nice twist on a match-the-colors puzzle"
Version: Rings of the Magi 2.0
Summary
This is a fresh twist on the old match-the-colors puzzle game genre. You have to match up rings of the same color in an attempt to remove them all from the playing board. But instead of directly moving the rings you "push" them with arrow buttons scattered throughout the board. Makes for some interesting tricks, as your arrow push may affect more than just the single ring you're trying to move. Wide variety of puzzles, some can be solved in only a few moves, while the more difficult ones might require dozens and dozens of moves. Very high "production value" throughout the graphics and sound. Good replay value due to the stats that are kept, you can replay any puzzle to improve your score or number of moves. Very handy "solve" feature that shows a possible solution for every puzzle - you can usually do better than this solution, so it gives you something to shoot for too. However, it's probably not for everyone. First, you have to be a fan of puzzle games. It's not as arcade-ish as Tetris and isn't timed, so it's not going to be a crossover hit with the arcade fans. There's more thinking and less action in this game. Second, some people might miss being able to move the rings directly, it takes a moment to get used to it after playing so many other puzzle games where they're designed like that. You can't do that here, it's all about using the arrow buttons. Once you "get it" though, it's a lot of fun.

"easy to learn but challenging brain teaser"
Version: Rings of the Magi 2.0
Summary
nice graphics and sound, very animated for a puzzle game, lots of puzzles, handy undo feature (could offer more levels of undo, but oh well), early puzzles seemed too easy, later puzzles seemed too hard, probably something for everyone here, had fun playing with the editor (wish you could save your edits with shareware version though, doh!)
