"Very Good for Small Guest House"

Pros
I like the reservation emails, the logging of income, the automated thank-you emails, the tracking of referral source, the monthly income reports and newer reports that show comparisons to the year before.
Cons
Bugs in guest address field, cannot enter name of business as the FROM in the emails, runs slow on my computer.
Summary
I have only two guest rooms but I can track all my guests and income in an organized manner making my monthly tax reports a breeze.

Many usefull features. Easy to use.
Cons
Only works with InnLink as a GDS supplier, which is very difficult and almost impossible to use. There is no price table showing the prices of each rooms.
Summary
We have been happy with the service and response time. If you can live with the cons, this is a very good product.

Pros
Gives you the most "bang for your buck!" Of all of the reservation software systems that I have reviewed, RezOvations is the best. I have used quite a few different PMS's and so far this has the most features, accuracy and stability.
Cons
Limited to using Intuit Quickbooks for internal credit card processing.
If only they could provide other options for processing within the program!
This is a real limitation to what would otherwise be an excellent program.Summary
After 5 years of using ROS2006 by Digital Rez (a miserable experience), this product shines by comparison!
It is now 2 years later since we got the software and we are still waiting for many bugs to be ironed out. Every patch they create to fix one feature, seems to break two others. We have to roll-back every time we update.
The ability to easily custom configure emails or other guest correspondence, and automatically generate reminder and follow up emails for guests is awesome!
One of the greatest things about RezOvations is their telephone support. They have been very helpful, and when one of their new techs was having a problem setting us up they got a senior tech right away to bail him out!
The downside is that they have some sort of contract with Intuit that makes it so you can only process transactions within the software if you use intuit processing!
This was a big concern for me, and may prevent us from using RezOvations down the road since we will more than likely have to use a separate credit card terminal to process our transactions. Boooo!
This is a real step backward for us, since we did enjoy payment processing through our previous program. I will rate the product only as good, based on that limitation.

Their online component called Webervations automatically populates the RezOvation GT with reservations data entered by the guests online (including payment info).
It worked really well until recently when they decided to split credit card numbers into two parts for security, a four digit part which is viewed by logging into the Webervations website, and a 12 digit part which is EMAILED to the Motel.
You have to manually combine the two parts in every reservation in order to charge the guest. Security concerns aside, this is ridiculous! Their intention was to use a "token" system to protect guest payment information, but it does not work.
They have many problems to work out before I will recommend their software!
I would downgrade to two stars if I could. -

GTO is the online version so all info is backed up.integrates perfectly with realtime online reservations. when booking rooms program offers travel insurance to guest. great reprt section that can be customized to each property

Took about a month to get all the program details and staff trained .
Summary
We have tried many PMS systems and rezovation GTO is by far the best thought out and easiest program we have ever used.

"LIFESAVER!!! . . .its the core tool of our business"

LOVE this PRODUCT! we wouldn't still be in business without it in this economy! Now almost every business has to be an online business - this software enables me to wake up in the morning to $1000's of reservations overnight!
Cons
Theres always so many improvements that we have to make sure we remember to download them to get the Best service possible.
Summary
The previous owner used RezStream, but we switched to RezOvation and have been saving almost $1000/month compared to what the previous owner used to pay for web site marketing and booking engine fees. The savings alone will be over $10,000/yr right to the bottom line at the inn. We love the RezOvation GT product, our new web site, and the great overall service.

Easy to manage on-line rates, availability, inventory. Interfaced credit card processing through Intuit eliminates almost all input errors. Support always ready to listen to help me solve problems or put my idea for future updates in the queue.
Cons
Sometimes I want updates faster than what is possible and I have to be patient!
Summary
Being able to change rates and inventory in real-time on-line on my website and on BandB.com has increased my revenue. Moreover, I am confident that I cannot double book a room. Intuit credit card processing has good rates and I spend less time bookkeeping. All the training I can possibly make time for is available. The auto-reminder letters to the guest prior to arrival have helped me catch reservation errors and let the guests know that we are expecting them. The auto thank you letters have really grown the number of on-line reviews that we have. Another plus for my peace of mind is the off-site backup of my data. The staff has even worked with another vendor at my request to resolve a reservation tracking issue. The software is inexpensive, flexible, thorough, intuitive, and I feel that the staff is always looking to improve the functionality to help me improve my business. Having worked in the hospitality industry for close to 25 years using all types of property management software (some priced at over $150K), I can say that this software is the best value out there.

"A well -researched, executed, user-friendly system"

1. Reasonably priced; 2. Offers levels from basic to whiz-bang; 4. Training is included & can be repeated 3 times a week; 5. Support personnel are reachable, knowledgable & understandable. 6. Marketing tools : detailed, can be personalized.
Cons
Many operations to learn, but multiple training sessions (no extra cost) and lots of Q & A time compensate.
Summary
We are a new property. RezOvation GT has enabled us to have a systematic property management program without having to reinvent the wheel. The staff has a mentoring mentality. I recommend RezOvation without reservation (no pun intended.)

"Does The Job and Helps Make Customers Happy"

Well written, intuitive and has a lot of powerful features. Helps us track our customers, sends them notices on celebrations (birthdays, etc.) which means incremental business. It also helps us track our gift shop sales and on-line reservations.
Cons
Runs on Windows, so I have to run a virtualization of that.
Summary
We shopped a lot of property management systems for our bed & breakfast and found RezOVation to really be the best. Then, after using it for some time, we found it helped us increase business through effective customer management. The company's support has been outstanding and the software has been very, very stable. From my experience, it's rare that a vertical application runs this well and has such good support, so I'm a huge fan. Bottom line - if you own a lodging property, this is a terrific choice for managing that property.

"Best of breed"

Ease of use, attention to details that innkeepers need, saves a lot of time when paired with the online booking engine and online payments, good reporting features, good data security, reliable, continuously updated, data backed up off-site.
Cons
Windows only, no online management tool (without using logmein or VNC), requires MS Word
Summary
We switched to using RezovationGT from a competitor and found this to be the best in terms of features and preservation of innkeeper's time. Combined with the online booking engine and payment system, this is the best system available for managing reservations and payments at a B&B or small inn.
The built in help system is very well written and support from the company has always been reliable and timely.
We used an all online system for the first 6 years of running our B&B and only switched to Rezovation GT a year ago (2008). The amount of time it has saved us in management has been significant already. I only wish I had switched sooner.
