ReverbNation brings together artists, fans, venues, and record labels to forge relationships around the music that sustains us. Even in the age of the internet, music is still enjoyed both live and recorded, and still travels from fan to fan. ReverbNation is here to provide the online environment in which those relationships can thrive.

"Pretty much a lot of things don't work as advertised"
The Facebook Band Profile is superb. Good site if you are a band and don't care about the parts that don't work.
They have 9 Widgets that promise a Quick Post to Facebook,Twitter and a bunch of other Social networking, they even have a live preview of what the app will look like. None of them work. When I asked tech support about them, they said the widgets weren't designed for Facebook. Which of course begs the question "Why are they there?" Fan Reach is an automated fan mgmt system. It will do OPT IN mass mailings and you design the email message. But when you check the number of your fans compared with the actual number of pieces to go out, they don't jibe. I sent at least 4 requests for help, and each time was told to follow the steps outlined on the page. Searching for help on this issue generates over 7,000 posts. They date back for about 5 YEARS. The list goes on. Be sure any premium service works (as much as you can) before paying...There are NO refunds
I think this site offers a lot of good services. It's too bad they don't seem to care about what works and what doesn't. With FanReach, those 7000 people that don't upgrade 'cause it doesn't work right, could have been spending $70,000 BUCKS FOR 10 MONTHS. I guess ReverbNation doesn't need the revenue.
"Keep your digital distro away from ReverbNation!"
Can't think of any pros.
They won't deliver your music where they promise, and will charge you for going elsewhere.
ReverbNation is one of the companies that looks nice at the first sight. There are some tiny restrictions in their conditions (the album MAY not be delivered to some companies, it May take long etc.), and it looks more or less as some usual self-protection against accidents. But beware! ReverbNation MEANS it. It WILL take ages and your music will be delivered to barely anyone. It WILL not be delivered to most important outlets, and they WILL not care. Still, ReverbNation WILL charge you to take your music down.
