"Best free keystroke tracker I found."
Version: Revealer Keylogger Free 1.4
Pros
Very easy to download and use. Looking at the keystrokes was very simple.
Cons
I had NO cons at all.
Summary
I installed this on my pc when my ex wife wanted to come back. Within a few weeks all the data I had and gave to my attorney we filed for divorce and I now have the house, kids and alimony. They argued in court that it was illegal but since I could prove it was done when we were seperated and it was my computer it was allowed as evidence. I have to say that this progam saved me from a nasty divorce and has made me happy now.

"What's the point"
Version: Revealer Keylogger Free 1.4
Pros
None - didn't work on my OS.
Cons
Didn't work on my win 7 machine. Worth paying for a software that records keystrokes as well as other stuff.
Summary
I ended up downloading the web watcher trial. Did everything I needed and more. Buying two copies for my home machines.

"What can I say? It's free!"
Version: Revealer Keylogger Free 1.4
Pros
It works just fine. It records every stroke of the keyboard.
Cons
You really can't change the format too much. For example, the time is in military time and that drives me bonkers. You have to scroll to the far left if someone is typing long sentences (wish it would just wrap text instead). I wish it would also be more specific as to what is webpage is being viewed. For example, if someone is on Facebook on JohnDoe's page, it doesn't let you know who JohnDoe is. It just says "Facebook - Mozilla Firefox". Sometimes I wonder if it really captures everything because I know my husband sometimes spends hours on the computer, but when I check to see if he's chatting with anyone, it will only show him as having visited 3 pages. For two hours? Really?
Summary
I agree with the others that this is not a virus. I haven't seen anything to indicate my computer is infected by a virus since installing this software. I did get a notice that spyware was installed on my computer, but that is common sense. This IS spyware, but you're the one installing it to spy, not someone else, and if you didn't install it, then pay attention to the notice. Overall, I think it is a good program. It could be better, but I can't complain too much because it's free and it does something for me that I otherwise would not be able to do on my own. It gives me peace of mind and it's affordable.

"Corrupted computer and could not deinstall application"
Version: Revealer Keylogger Free 1.4
Pros
none - see below
Cons
- Makes machine buggy
- Cannot be deinstalled as described in the instructions
- Turned itself off anyway, so I didn't even capture any data (though now I suspect it's sent it somewhere!)Summary
1) The deinstallation instructions were not accurate. Could not open the application consistently (sometimes would open, sometimes would not). Also began to experience all sorts of problems with my system - long start ups, could not shut down without force closing an unidentified program, even though rkfree.exe was supposed to be closed down
2) When I decided to simply delete the rkfree.exe files, my system told me I had to be an admin to do this - I am admin. I only run as admin. In the end I had to go to Safe Mode to remove it. I'm still trying to research what reg keys I might need to manually remove.
STAY AWAY - go for something else. Very dodgy indeed.
